Welcome
to the Ashover Band website.
Ashover Brass Band has been in existence
since the end of the 19th Century.
We have a thriving brass band in Ashover,
with
practices taking place on Sunday and Wednesday evenings from 7.30 pm to
9.15 pm in the Ashover Parish
Hall. We are a non-competing band and encourage a relaxed,
but professional, approach to our music making.
The band performs for a range of public and
private events across Derbyshire throughout the year. We are
always delighted to take on new engagements.

We welcome new players of all
capabilities.
If you would like to come along to a rehearsal we would be delighted to

Training Band
We also have a strong Training Band, who
practice
on Sunday evenings at 6.30 pm before the main band practice - during
school term times only! In the training band there is a
mixture of members of all ages, so if you fancy learning to play a

better still, come along and see us.
